The GADSP Advocacy Committee gathered in Macon, GA, August 7th 2025, for an energizing and impactful meeting!
A huge thank-you to Jessica and the River Edge team for providing such a welcoming and inspiring space for us to come together.
This gathering was about more than just business, it was about celebrating accomplishments, reconnecting with our shared purpose, strengthening bonds among DSPs, and charting the future of our advocacy.
Together, we:

Launched and staffed four powerful subcommittees: - Legislative & Policy Advocacy
- Communications & Outreach
- Membership & Engagement
- Finance & Fundraising
- Strengthened collaboration by committing to regular updates with key partners, including GA Uplift, UnlockGA, DBHDD, Sangha Unity Network, GCDD, SPADD, NADSP, ANCOR, GA Learning Community, and GA APSE.
The result? A productive, inspiring, and forward-focused get-together that left us more united than ever in our commitment to elevating the voice of DSPs across Georgia.
